ABOUT THE
CELEBRATION GAMES |
|
The Celebration Games began in 2007 as
an idea from Celebration residents who were looking for
additional opportunities for the residents of
Celebrations to get to know their neighbors and enjoy
friendly competition. The Games, which are coordinated
by Parks & Recreation staff, also serves as a fundraiser
for local charities. Celebration will be split into four
teams; Celebration Village, North Village, South
Village/Artisan Park and East Village.
Proceeds from entry fees will benefit
Celebration charities.
In 2007 the South District brought home
the trophy and in 2008 the Western District was
victorious. The 2009 champion will be crowned on
February 14!
